Inclusive Language

This means avoiding making assumptions, and choosing our words carefully to allow for the widest range of possibilities. For example, we use the word “partner” instead of gendered words such as “husband/boyfriend” or “wife/girlfriend, ” we do not assume to know the gender identityinfo-icon or preferred pronouns/titles of anyone who walks in the door, and we are careful to use inclusive terms in every language that we offer services in.
